Privacy notice

Short version: this is a guide with no accounts, no newsletter and no shop, so there is very little to collect.

Last updated: August 2026

What is collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs. Those logs typically record your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser and operating system used. They exist to keep the site running and to see roughly how many people visit.

Cookies

These pages set no advertising or profiling cookies of their own. If you arrived from an advertisement, the platform you clicked through may have set its own identifiers before you got here; those are covered by that platform's policy, not this one.

What is not collected

There is no registration, no comment section, no mailing list and no payment of any kind on this site, so no names, addresses or card details are gathered anywhere on it. Nothing is sold or passed to data brokers.

Email

If you write to the address on the contact page, we keep the message so we can reply and, where relevant, correct a page. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Links elsewhere

Where a page points to another site — a regulator, for instance — that site has its own policy and its own practices. We have no control over what happens after you leave.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to the contact address and say what you want; we will do it or explain why we cannot.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of earlier versions — the page you are reading is the whole policy.
